What this is
Un registro público de limpiezas de basura. Cada salida tiene una foto, una nota en Nostr y un recuento de bolsas recogidas. Los datos viven en una hoja de cálculo que cualquiera puede leer.
A public log of trash cleanups. Every outing gets a photo, a note on Nostr, and a count of bags collected. The data lives in a spreadsheet anyone can read.

Nostr es una red social que no le pertenece a nadie. Tu identidad es una clave criptográfica y es tuya para siempre.
Los sats (satoshis) son la unidad mínima de Bitcoin. Piénsalos como céntimos. 1 sat = 0,00000001 bitcoin. A 100.000 $, 10 sats = 1 céntimo.
Los zaps son propinas enviadas a través de la Lightning Network — la capa de pagos rápidos de Bitcoin. Cuando alguien zapea una nota en Nostr, los sats van directamente del wallet del emisor al del creador, en segundos, sin intermediarios.

Nostr is a social network nobody owns. Your identity is a cryptographic key and it's yours forever.
Sats (satoshis) are the smallest unit of Bitcoin. Think of them as cents. 1 sat = 0.00000001 bitcoin. At $100k, 10 sats = 1 cent.
Zaps are tips sent over the Lightning Network — Bitcoin's fast payment layer. When someone zaps a note on Nostr, sats move directly from their wallet to the creator's, in seconds, with no intermediary.
Together they make something simple possible: you generate, document and share something precious — and anyone in the world can send you value for it directly. 🧡🙏💜

No platform owns this. No payment processor can block it. The notes are mine, the keys are mine, the sats go directly from the sender to my wallet. If this site disappears tomorrow, the notes are still on Nostr.
That's the only reason these tools are here — they remove the parts that usually break.
Qué tan verificable es esto
How verifiable this actually is
Esto no es a prueba de trampas, y no pretende serlo. Cada nota en Nostr está firmada y con marca de tiempo — no puedo editarla ni cambiarle la fecha después sin que se note, y si esta página desaparece las notas siguen existiendo en otro sitio. Los zaps son pagos Lightning reales, registrados en la propia nota, de wallet a wallet.
Lo que nada de esto impide: podría crear una segunda cuenta de Nostr y zapearme a mí mismo para inflar los números. Podría fotografiar basura que no recogí, o generar una foto con IA. Nada aquí demuestra que eso no ocurra — solo hace que comprobarlo sea más fácil que falsificarlo bien.
This isn't cheat-proof, and it doesn't claim to be. Each note on Nostr is signed and timestamped — I can't quietly edit or backdate one, and if this page disappears the notes still exist elsewhere. Zaps are real Lightning payments, recorded on the note itself, wallet to wallet.
What none of that stops: I could spin up a second Nostr account and zap myself to inflate the numbers. I could photograph trash I didn't actually collect, or generate a photo with AI. Nothing here proves that isn't happening — it just makes it easier to check than to fake well.

How to become a Contributor
Un Colaborador es alguien que sale a limpiar un espacio natural o descuidado, lo documenta y publica una nota en Nostr. La nota es tuya — escribe lo que quieras. Lo que aparece abajo es el formato que nos permite registrar tu salida correctamente.
A Contributor is someone who goes out to clean a natural or neglected space, documents it, and posts a note on Nostr. The note is yours — write whatever you want. What's below is the format that allows us to log your outing properly.
1. Hacer la salida. Recoge basura de cualquier espacio natural o urbano descuidado. Usa bolsas transparentes de 2,5 gal / 10 litros si puedes — facilita el conteo.

2. Documentarla. El formato que permite hacer un buen registro — al menos cuatro fotos:

Sin Nostr, la acción local no genera valor económico directo. Sin Lightning, los zaps no ocurren. Sin un sistema sin permisos, alguien acaba extrayendo renta en algún punto — y el patrón se derrumba.
Without Nostr, local action does not generate direct economic value. Without Lightning, zaps don't happen. Without a permissionless system, someone extracts rent at some point — and the pattern collapses.
Lo que ocurre con Sats for Trash dentro del entorno Nostr es que cada nota publicada entrena al ecosistema a reconocer un nuevo tipo de contenido: acción verificable + valor económico + impacto local. Esto cambia ligeramente lo que Nostr es, no solo lo que haces dentro de él.

What happens with Sats for Trash inside the Nostr environment is that each note published trains the ecosystem to recognize a new kind of content: verifiable action + economic value + local impact. This slightly changes what Nostr is, not just what you do within it.
The potential of Sats for Trash isn't just in the physical environment being cleaned up — it's in practical proof that Nostr + Lightning is viable infrastructure for use cases with real-world physical impact. Every zapped note increases the potential of the protocol field, not just the natural space being cleaned.
